• History of Ulaanbaatar city

The capital, Ulaanbaatar, has a history of 385 years and became the capital of ​Mongolia in 1912. As a result, the legal basis for becoming the capital city of Mongolia ​was created by the Constitution of 1924, which was reflected in the Constitutions of ​1940 and 1960, which became an important decision for our country with a nomadic ​civilization to transition to a settled society.
